Stealing Star Style: Blake Lively
Blake Lively by jackieheartsb featuring Forever21
I wasn’t sure about this outfit upon first glance, but it looks comfortable and age-appropriate.

Working Woman (from Forever 21).
It’s hard to find affordable work-appropriate clothing, and even then it can be challenging to put it together into something sophisticated and cohesive.
I’ve compiled some lovely work outfits—with all the clothing, shoes and accessories from Forever 21. Impossible you say? Forever 21 may sound like the last place to find clothing for your 9-to-5, but you’ll be surprised...
Working Woman : Color, color, color.
Forever 21 Working Woman Set 1 by jackieheartsb on Polyvore.com
A lot of women find it difficult to incorporate color into the workplace. This tunic is just bright enough and doesn’t look garish. The matching earrings pull the whole thing together. Also, these pants are linen so you won’t melt in the summer heat.

Working Woman : Sleek & refined

Tuck in the camisole and wear the cardigan partially buttoned.

Working Woman : Vintage Flair
Forever 21 Working Woman Set 3 by jackieheartsb on Polyvore.com
I love the vintage print of this dress. Wear the cardigan unbuttoned and the belt at your natural waist.

Working Woman : Monochromatic
Forever 21 Working Woman Set 4 by jackieheartsb on Polyvore.com
I love the fashion-forward but still appropriate combination of a long vest with a more conservative dress.

Lucky Magazine: Summer Makeup for Less Than a Movie by jackieheartsb on Polyvore.com
The May 2009 issue of Lucky magazine featured their picks for makeup that costs “less than a movie.” I’ve never tried any of these, but I’ll take Lucky’’s word for it and grab a couple! I’m especially interested in the N.Y.C Sun 2 Sun bronzer: I can always use more...

In Search of Fashion Inspiration:

I give full credit to Jessica for inspiring me to start trying to chronicle my daily outfits. She’s got a monster vintage collection, which is duly helped by her locale (NYC). I love how she easily pulls off colored tights, and her tips on What I Wore are definitely worth taking a second (or third) look at.

Oopsies!
Sorry I haven’t updated in a bit. I’ve been uber busy with school, work and wedding.
I’m going to take a huge chunk of time this week and take photos of all the outfits I’ve been wearing.
I’ve also got some dresses I ordered from Target coming to me, so I’ll have lots of new style inspiration soon.

Today was my first day of midterm exams, so I wanted to be as comfortable as possible. Also, it’s a beautiful day: not hot, not cold, so a light sweater was ideal.

I’ve been watching The Rachel Zoe Project and was inspired by Zoe’s assistant, Taylor. Her attitude is amusing and I love her unkempt, edgy style.
