In Search of Fashion Inspiration:

whatiwore:

I give full credit to Jessica for inspiring me to start trying to chronicle my daily outfits. She’s got a monster vintage collection, which is duly helped by her locale (NYC). I love how she easily pulls off colored tights, and her tips on What I Wore are definitely worth taking a second (or third) look at.

On the Hunt for Fashion Inspiration
I’m starting with Facehunter, a street style blog that’s always a good starting point.
I’ve been resisting wear black—my old mainstay—because I wanted to experiment with more colors and prints, but the dreary weather just screams for a monochromatic wardrobe.

I can’t wait until my new dresses from Target arrive. This one, an Isaac Mizrahi print, was less than $9. Check out another dress I ordered here.

Oopsies!

Sorry I haven’t updated in a bit. I’ve been uber busy with school, work and wedding.

I’m going to take a huge chunk of time this week and take photos of all the outfits I’ve been wearing.

I’ve also got some dresses I ordered from Target coming to me, so I’ll have lots of new style inspiration soon.

Tatiana, you are killing me with the headbands! I adore this one—love plaid.

The J.Crew headband in question. Mmmm
This is my good friend, Tatiana. She’s recently married and puts together adorable, preppy outfits. This headband is great and reminds me of Henley off the latest season of Project Runway…in a good way! :) I, alas, cannot pull off headbands and I fully admire women that can.

  • Black skinny jeans from Old Navy
  • Black maryjanes by Isaac Mizrahi for Target
  • Print boatneck shirt (with drawstring waist) by H&M
  • Faux leather jacket from Target
  • Cream cardigan from Ross

I’ve been watching The Rachel Zoe Project and was inspired by Zoe’s assistant, Taylor. Her attitude is amusing and I love her unkempt, edgy style.
